Kick-off at the Achema trade fair for Scherzinger Gear Pump Team

At this year’s Achema trade fair for chemical engineering, environmental protection and biotechnology, Pumpenfabrik Ernst Scherzinger has positioned a proven team on the playing field: the dosing pump range 2030-5030.
The line-up of the gear pump team consisted of the small but high precision dosing pumps 2030 in attack, a reliable middle field of dosing pumps 3030 and 4030 and the high-performance dosing pumps 5030 in defence. Scherzinger positioned one 4030 and one 5030 gear pump in each goal which made it impossible for the opponent to score because of the water pumping between the two goal posts.
The consistent pursuit of “one-two” success tactics was defined for this game in advance. In this way, the standard design of individual gear pumps can be flexibly adapted to the respective system depending on the requirements of the customer and the game. “We see the one-two tactic as a technical showpiece in our game as this constitutes direct and fast team play between us and the customer. In this way, we secure the best chance to score in our game together”, says Christiane Scheller, Marketing Director.
When selecting the team we ensured that the various material combinations in the range take centre stage. In this way, a gear pump from the 3030 range can be fitted both with PEEK as well as optionally equipped with stainless steel or W88 gears. Depending on what it’s used for, the gear wheels can be finished with ceramics, carbon or synthetic bearings.
The week-long preparation for Achema consisted of several major training sessions: the 2030-5030 dosing pump team was prepared to be adapted as desired either with metric connections G 1 “ or G 1 ½ “ and SAE DIN ISO 6162-1/-2 or DIN EN 1092 connections to the user system. Moreover, the “defence” – 5030 – was trained to automatically withstand system pressures up to 100 bar.
When the whistle blew for kick-off at the Achema trade fair, there was no holding back for the persistent and versatile 2030-5030 dosing pump team. So the committed team scored a deserved victory and successfully won the day with their one-two tactics.
