2-Part Adhesive is also only good if it adheres to the proper location Gear pumps that reliably get the 2-part adhesive to where it needs to go

88 m long, 30 t heavy, at the top, up to 400 km/h fast

Modern rotor blades on wind turbines are true wonders of technology. They are an example of how highly innovative materials and production methods can lead to groundbreaking products. The 2-part adhesive offers numerous options to this end – not just for the largest wind turbines of the world …

What distinguishes our pumps from many others: Both high technology and our reliability are embedded in them.

Pumps for 2-part laminating and adhesive: Composites and structures for extreme conditions

To bring the 2-part adhesive reliably to the proper location for adhering – this is the task of the SCHERZINGER gear pumps. In this technology, the components A (resin) and B (hardening agent) are supplied from the respective containers. Depending on the required mixing ratio and the specified output quantity, the adhesive is precisely dosed with the gear pump, supplied by the 2-part mixer and applied. Our pumps are suitable for both epoxy resin and polyurethane systems.

Modern 2-part adhesive with SCHERZINGER pumps offers these advantages:

Longer lifespan for heavily stressed components

through fiber composites

Composites enable accurately defined rigidities – from elastic to the highest rigidity

Structures and products that are unattainable through conventional materials

Weight reduction through lightweight, application-optimized high performance materials

10-times stronger vibration absorption of fiber composites in comparison to metals

Extremely high corrosion-resistance of fiber composite materials

Versatile, innovative design possibilities through composites

Highest operational safety due to reliable pumps

SCHERZINGER incorporates over 80 years of experience in each of its products. Particularly in modern processes such as the 2-part adhesive, it is important to reliably observe the requirements for successful bonding – only then can the technology make full use of its strengths.

You profit with SCHERZINGER in:

  • Exact observance of the defined mixing ratio of resin and hardener
  • Accurate attainment of the prespecified output quantity
  • Consistent observance of the flow rate in alternating counterpressures
  • Bubble-free and low-pulsating conveyance and dosing
  • A variably adjustable pump pressure
  • A variably adjustable flow rate
  • High wear resistance
  • Complete air tightness of the pump (degasing of the resins possible)
