Variable oil pumps
Controlled oil pumps have been developed for the demand-oriented and, therefore, energy-efficient conveyance of engine oil. In combination with gallery pressure return and map-controlled electronic pressure control, they ensure a maximum degree of efficiency, and therefore minimum fuel consumption. A purely mechanical, speed-dependent pressure control concept is also available upon request.
|Flow rate||Up to 300 l/min|
|Differential pressure||Up to 8 bar|
|Viscosity range||For all viscosity classes, including 0W-20 and 0W-30|
|Speed range||Up to 9,500 rpm|
|Temperature range||–40°C to +150°C|
|Pumping principle||- Axially-adjustable external gear pump
- Eccentrially-adjustable vane-type pump
- By means of two gear stages, activated pressure-dependently
|Pressure control||- Multi-stage or continuously adjustable pressure control
- Purely mechanical control possible for gear pumps
|Installation type||- Add-on pump, seals resistant to biofuel
- Built-in pump
|Materials||Casing of aluminum or magnesium alloys
Gears of highly wear-resistant aluminum or steel
Examples of applications
- Diesel engines
- Gasoline engines
- Gas engines
