Secure and Resilient – The Gear Circle Closes
Scherzinger Pump Technology presents the optimised series 20712 M as strategic further development of the established flow divider series 20700. It convinces with a changed construction principle.
The essential change in the optimised series 20712 M is only visible once the user casts a look inside: A circular gear setup is used instead of a sun wheel with several gear pairs placed around it. They interlock and render the sun wheel obsolete for synchronisation.
Since the optimised series has not changed in form and function, customers can integrate it into their systems directly and without any additional adaptations. The series 20712 M is suitable for all frame 7EA GE gas turbines and convinces with an increased service life due to its optimised construction. "The optimised series suffers less wear because the strain on the bearings is reduced," says Marco Hawlicek, Product Manager Gas Turbine Components. "By reducing the number of components, our customers also profit from a savings potential of about 25% across the entire service life of the flow divider. It's truly amazing," Hawlicek notes.
Internal tests with the optimised series 20712 M have already been completed. The flow divider series will be deployed in Saudi-Arabia to prove their worth by the end of the year.
